# Statuses

Mobsted platform allows assigning **Statuses** to each [Event](file:///C:\\@mobsted-2\s\knowledge-base\\~\edit\drafts\\-LoUfZsvjpkAJdvJR9DJ\events)**.** Statuses helps to track events and update platform users ([Business servicers](file:///C:\\@mobsted-2\s\knowledge-base\\~\edit\drafts\\-LoUfZsvjpkAJdvJR9DJ\user_access#manage-mobsted-platform-user-access)) and/or app users on the progress. This can be done with trigger based on Event status filter \[дать детали в статье Events и вставить ссылку].

For example, you have a complaint form with event created on submission. The event can have several statuses that you can change and track until the resolution.

**To find Statuses:**

1. Open app in **Constructor** −> Click **Backend** in the header menu−> Click **Statuses**
2. Click **Main menu** -> Click **Statuses.**

**CREATE AND EDIT STATUSES**

‌

Platform has 2 default statuses: **Open Status** and **Closed Status**.

**Possible actions with Statuses:**

‌

1. **Add new** status
2. **Edit** exsisting status
3. **Copy** exsistng status in case you need a status with similar properties
4. **Delete** created status.

**Open Status** and **Closed Status** can't be deleted i.e an event must have one of those statuses. You can **Edit** Open/Closed statuses with new names.

To delete created status you need to make sure it is not used in any event.

**Status properties:**

‌

1. Status **Name**
2. **Who can use** - set Status visibility:
   1. SM - only for platform users ([Business servicers](file:///C:\\@mobsted-2\s\knowledge-base\\~\edit\drafts\\-LoUfZsvjpkAJdvJR9DJ\user_access#manage-mobsted-platform-user-access))
   2. MU - only for app users
   3. Both
3. **Enter order number in line from "open" to "close"** - sorting statuses within status table.
4. **Font Color and Background Color** - styling elements. Applying styling elements helps to visually deffirentiate statuses in the table.
